The objective of the position is to undertake duties associated with the Cleansing and Solid Waste Unit, including waste/recycling collection services, waste management centre/landfill operations and the cleaning of streets and associated areas

Completion of year 10 or a Certificate III in Asset Maintenance or the ability to acquire *

A current Medium Rigid class of driver licence with a demonstrated competency in operating small and medium mobile plant*

Ability to read and understand maps, work rosters, daily works programs and run sheets*

Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and complete tasks in a specified timeframe*

Sound communication skills to enable effective teamwork with colleagues and respectful interactions with members of the public*

Current Drivers Licence, Police Check and Working with Children check*
