Degree in Recreation Management, Leisure, Marketing or a related discipline coupled with extensive experience in the management of a major aquatic, fitness centre or sports facility of a national standard coupled with a thorough understanding of strategic planning, *

Sound knowledge of the operation and maintenance of plant, buildings and equipment relevant to the operation of the Aquatic Centre and Fitness Centre*

Demonstrated experience in providing direction, motivation performance management, leadership and support to, and working effectively within a multi-disciplinary team environment.*

Experience in the preparation and implementation of both strategic and operational plans and programs and highly developed project management skills.*

5. Demonstrated knowledge of risk management and working in a quality assurance framework coupled with knowledge and understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation*

Experience in financial management and administration of contracts and contractors engaged to provide services to the Unit.*

Demonstrated ability to relate effectively to local, state and national aquatic, fitness sporting bodies ensuring a high level of cooperation and communication exists between user groups and the Centre*

Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly with tact and sensitivity, experience in facilitating group outcomes and meetings and facilitating cooperation and acceptance of viewpoints*

Current Drivers Licence, Working With Children, Financial Check and Police Check*
